HireGary.net times eight

Am I a copycat if I didn't know I was copying an existing idea? Dunno. But I stumbled across this site called 8GoodPeople.com that was launched in 2003 with a goal similar to mine in launching HireGary.net.

The site is basically a group of eight writers chronicling our lives without work. 116 weeks into the site, and 6 of the 8 have found work... and one moved to France to start over completely.

Some interesting essays and just an all around novel idea. Strength in numbers, to be sure.

As Michael Laskoff says on his site, "isolation is death to the unemployed. Go meet some people."
