How cool is your job?
As I reflect back on my 13+ year professional career, I've had some pretty lame jobs, as well as some pretty cool jobs. I've discussed with friends that some jobs just have a coolness factor, even if the pay isn't all that great.
For instance, working in minor league baseball with The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will likely go down as my all time favorite job, even though the pay was pretty sub-par. Baseball is one of my passions, and there were the occasional brushes with greatness (I met Goose Gossage, for instance), and some pretty fun people.
There were other jobs I enjoyed, though they didn't have the cachet that the T-Rats or the Weidner Center had. I worked for a company called Cleaning Systems, Inc. - a manufacturer of cleaning solutions for industrial and car wash applications.

I guess the bottom line is that if you find a career you love and a livable wage, your enthusiasm can make any job sound exciting. That is my wish for everyone.
