Jobhunting the Government Way

Leave it to the feds to royally muck up how you search for a job, and how you seek qualified job applicants.

This CNNMoney.com article (thanks Danavan) talks about new government regs aimed at... well... not really sure what they're aimed at.

According to the article, these new guidlelines are "meant to standardize how employers track data on the diversity of their job-applicant pool..." specifically online job applicants. The result, however, is a gigantic pain in the rump for jobseekers and employers alike.

Take a read through and be amazed at the level of BS they are trying to pass off as helpful legislation.

Here's another take from ARS Technica.
